Mia nutrition was born out of necessity by its founder, Josh. He received a shock when his beloved dog Mia received a terminal health diagnosis at age 15. The veterinarian advised she be put down as she wouldn't survive another month. Josh refused to let her go and instead applied his background in nutrition and cellular health to try and find something that would save his little girl.
He created a superfood formulation and started giving it to Mia every day. And amazingly, it worked. Instead of losing her a few weeks later as the vets had predicted, Mia went on to live a happy and disease free life until the ripe old age of 18. Josh was convinced his formulation was working and began making it for his friends to try on their dogs. Seeing positive results repeated over and over he was convinced he had created something powerful and knew there was a market for a superfood that could support dogs' health in a meaningful way.
